Kokyu is a diver companion and breath training app built by Kubicle LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.
Account & Authentication
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. This information is used solely to identify you within the app and enable features such as session tracking and social functionality.

- Training Data — breath hold sessions, CO2/O2 training results, personal bests, and statistics you generate through using the app.
- Usage Data — device type, operating system, app version, and general usage patterns.

- Enable social features such as sharing sessions with friends, based on your privacy settings.

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement security measures to ensure that private data is accessible only to you, and shared data is visible only to the audience you choose (private, friends, or public).
Privacy Controls
Kokyu provides privacy settings that let you control the visibility of your training sessions. You can set sessions to private (visible only to you), friends (visible to your connections), or public (visible to all users).
Third-Party Services
Kokyu uses third-party services for authentication and data storage. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Settings page within the app. You may also contact us to request deletion. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete your cloud-stored data.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
